“Working with Autumn Davidson was the best decision I made during my birth experience. I interviewed three doulas during my 30th week of pregnancy and decided to hire Autumn because of her friendliness, professionalism, and calm energy.

Autumn was extremely organized and resourceful. During our prenatal meetings, she brought me a lot of materials, developed a birth plan for me, and provided tremendous help in managing my stress and fear. During my early labor time, Autumn traveled across the city at 4 a.m. to my place and practiced the Miles Circuit with me. She brought a full backpack of tools, such as essential oils, peppermint candies, and warm socks, to support me through the early labor process. Her pressure stone, a hand massage tool, became my lucky charm later during my active labor and birth time.

My birth time was not easy. It took me four hours of active pushing followed by a vacuum-assisted vaginal delivery and an episiotomy before my baby came out. During this entire process, Autumn was extremely helpful. She helped me stay hydrated, focused, and hopeful. Her encouragement and affirmation kept me going strong throughout my birth time. Autumn also stayed for extra hours after I gave birth to make sure I had everything I needed before she left the hospital.

Postpartum recovery has been a difficult journey for me. Again, Autumn showed her caring, empathy, and support. During our postpartum meeting, she helped me process my birth experience - my challenges, physical trauma, and accomplishments. Together, we developed a postpartum plan and self-care strategies. With Autumn's support, I am able to enjoy family bonding time better.

She is an excellent active listener, extremely passionate about her work, and dedicated to supporting the families she works with.
